Jon Payne
Director of Pricing Strategy & Analytics
As Director of Pricing Strategy & Analytics at Loadsmart, a leading digital freight technology company, Jon Payne oversees three segments of the digital brokerage: Business & Market Intelligence and Pricing Analytics & Ops for our Contract and Spot businesses. Accountable for optimizing our pricing algorithms for (a) the current & future market and (b) our customers’ service & volume needs, Payne plays a pivotal role in delivering competitive contract & spot pricing to shippers by leveraging Loadsmart’s vast access to shipper and carrier freight network data.
Under Payne’s leadership, Loadsmart has been awarded thousands of contracted freight agreements, instantly priced millions of spot quotes to integrated shippers, published 20+ external economic research reports on the freight market, and grown the Pricing Strategy department by 800%. Prior to joining Loadsmart, Payne worked at J.P. Morgan as an Investment Banking Analyst on the Leveraged Finance team.
Yann Morize
Product Manager, Data and AI
Yann is the product manager at Loadsmart in charge of building solutions for shippers to move more with less with the help of data and AI. Prior to being a product manager, Yann was a machine learning engineer, developing some of Loadsmarts advanced data capabilities, such as mode optimization, CO2 computation, tracking and recommendation systems. He holds a master’s degree in mechatronics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
Driven to improve the logistics landscape, Yann envisions a future where data and AI will continue to shape the industry, fostering greener, more agile, and interconnected supply chains.
